FREQUENTLY ASKED QUESTIONS

1. When should I schedule my newborn shoot?

   Ideally, we will be in contact prior to giving birth! We will want to have the session within the first 2 weeks after you have your baby.

2. I want to have the session in my home, where in my house will you shoot?

   I like to photograph newborns in natural light, so selecting rooms with big windows are the best. Most commonly we shoot in the master bedroom, nursery or living room.

3. How many outfits for baby?

   Normally, I say maximum, 2 total outfits. Swaddles or swaddle-type outfits tend to be coziest for baby!

4. We have more than one kid, can we do a 30 minute session?

   Whenever siblings are involved, I suggest a 60 minute total session, just in case!

5. We want to shoot in your studio, do you have newborn props?

   I have some items that are newborn specific but typically suggest you bring anything “prop” specific, that you have in mind.
